I hate to start legislating a woman's reproductive rights. That could lead to tricky territory. But there NEED to be some kind of guidelines so things like this and the OctoMom don't occur. I don't think there should be a "legal" cut off, but I think doctors should use good moral judgement. In most cases, I would think that 49 years-old should be the maximum age for fertility treatment. I hope for the sake of those twins that the 66 year-old woman manages to have a long & healthy pregnancy. However, I wouldn't be surprised if those babies are delivered extremely premature and/or with serious health problems.
