If you have ANY DOUBT that Kate Gosselin – of the TLC show JON & KATE Plus 8 – is a horrible self-centered mother, this video snippet ought to wipe those doubts right out of your head.
The video (courtesy of Access Hollywood) shows Kate and her 8 kids (sans Jon naturally) getting ready for a LIVE INTERVIEW. Daughter MADY, seated next to her, is thirsty and asks her mom for water. Kids do that, you know. Ask their parents who are their caretakers for nourishment and the occasional beverage.
Kate’s response? Why, she says she’s thirsty too and has a bottle of water brought out by a P.A. She gets the water and you’ll NEVER BELIEVE what she does next! Give her daughter a sip of the water? I mean, that’s what YOU’D do as a mom, right?
NOPE! Kate takes a cooling drink. Then she puts the bottle AWAY! She doesn’t give any to her daughter! Poor little MADY begins to CRY! And says her mom is really, really mean.
Mady, sweetie. You’re right. Your mom is really, really something. I just don’t think I’m allowed to say it on my website.
What a f&^%ing bit%$!
Okay. Maybe she’s not beating her kids. And they’re not living in a crack house amongst hypodermic needles and rats. But abuse comes in various forms. And neglect and indifference are among them. BUT THAT’S JUST MY OPINION.
WHAT DO YOU THINK? IS THIS A FORM OF ABUSE? OR SHOULD THESE KIDS BE GRATEFUL FOR THE LIVES THEY HAVE? COMMENT BELOW!
I think that child services should be watching that “mom”. She is downright wicked. Although I don’t believe in affairs, I don’t blame Jon one bit for going out on that bimbo.
Hey gang, the reason Mammakaze and “perfekt child” (and she is perfect by the way) did not watch TV for 6 days is NOT because we don’t have TV’s. We just choose to do other things in summer and they did also. We had a wonderful, wonderful visit! Anyone want a firefly in a jar?? Well, now that the CA family is safely back in CA, it is back to my diet. Guess that means no WV Mudslides for a while.

been a couple of days. Hurry back to us!!!!!

I think Kate can be very self centered, but I have been watching this show from the beginning,and Mady has always been overly whiney and manipulative. At the end of the clip, Kate asks for water for all, and says they can have water after the interview. Can you imagine giving sips to all 8, and then they all have to go potty? Give Kate a break. OK, so she masterminded a TV show, a big house, and alot of money, I give her credit for doing that. What is Octomom doing to support her 14 or so children. OH YEA, Living off her mom. Kate may not be mother earth, and not all warm and fuzzy, but she is taking care of those kids the best she can. That is why I find the break up so sad. It appears Kate is the business end of the family, and Jon is the caretaker. Those kids lose the most.

I would not have thought as much of the “water episode” had Kate not asked for a bottle of water when Mady was whining (and stupid me thought she was going to give the child a drink) but instead took a drink herself in front of Mady and then threw the bottle beside the chair. (well, maybe she dropped it). Anyway, Kate will never get “mother of the year” in my book. Octomom is another story – that woman definitely in it for “fame” and “fortune”. The best thing could
happen to those poor children, is they be given to people who WILL
love them and care for them and the rest of us ignore Octomom and maybe she will finally go away! Octomom definitely has a screw loose! and the doctor who impregnated her … don’t get me started.
They should take his license!
