Hey! FATHER’ DAY is upon us! Yes, we at MAMMAKAZE acknowledge DADDIES too. It’s not ALL about MAMMAS. We know dads have something to do with this whole parenthood, raising kids thing.  Randy the perfekt husband sure does. And we’d like him to know we appreciate all he does.

To that end, we dedicate today’s drink to fathers out there everywhere. And we picked a drink that not only would appeal to dads but actually had a name with a testosterone KICK to it.  By that we mean, it actually has the word “MAN” in the title.  

May we present:  

THE MANHATTAN

2 oz. Rye Whiskey

1/2 oz. Sweet Vermouth

2-3 dashes Angostura Bitters

Maraschino Cherry for garnish

Pour the ingedients into a mixing glass with ice cubes. Stir well. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with that annoying decorative cherry.

NOTE: Okay. I was gonna give my shortcuts. You know, like instead of chilling the glass, just stick it under cold water for a minute. OR ditch that stupid cherry cuz you’re gonna anyway. BUT. It’s Father’s Day. And shouldn’t we make the extra effort for the men in our lives? No? Okay. Do what you want then. You  know what your marriage can withstand better than me.
